incident is now being investigated. Unfortunately they don’t know who the
driver was or the vehicle that hit the victim and have no leads. The “who” in this situation is the female
victim as well as the police investigating the crime.

Normally voters are able to request a vote-by-mail ballot
online but because the system has been down for maintenance as they try to move
to a new platform that is used by the majority of counties in Florida. They are
making some last-minute touches to the site and hope that it will be up by this
weekend. The “who” in this problem are
the residents of Orange county Florida.

Wednesday night a cruise ship traveling through the Mediterranean
put a Chinese national and her companion in isolation because they displayed
symptoms of the virus. This then led them to hold the 6000 passengers on board
in case the passenger did have the virus. As of now health officials are on the
ship and looking into the situation. The “who: in this article are the 6000
passengers who are not quarantined on the cruise.

Fitness Instagrammer sues South Florida plastic
surgeon for botched butt injection removal
Back in 2010 Jenelle Butler, (the "who" in this situation) an Instagrammer, went to a
hotel room to have silicone injected into her but. For a while she liked how her
butt looked and was pleased with the outcome. But after giving birth to her
third child she realized she wanted the injections removed because her butt had
become so big. Unfortunately, the surgery went terribly and left her with cut
blood vessels and excessive blood loss. After the injection removal she had to
be hospitalized and have blood transfusions. And months after she still had
large open wounds and unable to do simple activities. Because this left Jenelle
in such a bad state she decided to sue the doctor.
I thought you found some very interesting problems local newspapers are focusing on. The corona virus scare that has 6,000 people stuck on a cruise ship was very interesting to me because those people have such a large problem which means they really want a solution. That means that there may be a large opportunity in that scenario, so I was glad you included it in your post. Great Job!

I believe that the systems we currently use to vote can be improved to be easier, more accurate, and more secure so I think there are some great opportunities out there to help fix the problems. The story about the coronavirus being on a cruise ship was also very interesting to read. Great work!
ReplyDeleteInteresting articles you found there, I like the range of basic consumer based problems such as Thanksgiving tips and an unreliable plastic surgeon up to large scale issues like voter rights being suppressed and the police seeking help from the community to solve a hit and run. It is enough to get an idea about the problems in the word today without going overboard. Kudos!
